Introduction of Sophos’ next-generation cybersecurity portfolio brings Ingram Micro channel partners

Introduction of Sophos’ next-generation cybersecurity portfolio brings Ingram Micro channel partners more choice and flexibility when it comes to deploying the right security solutions

Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia: 31 March, 2022 – Ingram Micro Inc. is expanding its successful business relationship with Sophos to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

The regional agreement includes the full range of Sophos’ next-generation software and hardware products and threat response services and taps Ingram Micro’s expertise in partner enablement and recruitment of new, security-focused managed service providers (MSPs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs). The new arrangement extends the existing relationship, which already sees Ingram Micro supporting Sophos’ offering for MSPs.

The combination of the changed threat surfaces caused by increased worker mobility and continually evolving threats such as sophisticated ransomware gangs means that businesses of all sizes and technical sophistication find themselves needing cybersecurity solutions that are both of a high standard and are backed up by global research and development that means they can respond rapidly to evolving threats.

Channel partners looking to build and accelerate their security practice can fast-track their efforts by using Ingram Micro’s Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, as well as its vast array of education, training, and professional services resources. Resellers need vendor solutions that can meet those challenges and now have access to a leading range of security solutions to help keep their customers’ businesses secure.

Cybersecurity is big business for the channel and a priority for business leaders.

Luis Lourenco Vice President and Chief Country Executive, ASEAN and Hong Kong, Ingram Micro

“Part of the value Ingram Micro brings to MSPs and MSSPs is the ability to customize the solution to fit the security needs of their clients,” continues Lourenco. “We’re thrilled to expand our engagement with Sophos to a wider region and help channel partners to bring to market the full spectrum of cybersecurity solutions for businesses of all sizes with endpoint, network, email, and mobile security, encryption, and managed threat response.”

Initiatives such as the APAC Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence clearly demonstrate Ingram Micro’s commitment ensuring its partner ecosystem has access to the best cybersecurity solutions available. Adding Sophos gives Ingram Micro’s partners more cybersecurity solutions to help protect their customers from the ever-evolving threat landscape.

The synergies between Sophos and Ingram Micro have been evident through our existing partnership and I am looking forward to delivering even greater value to the channel through this extended relationship.”
